Mine is a private journal and reflection app published by Uria Franko. Mine does not sell personal information, show advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Information Mine handles
- Account information: your Clerk account identifier and the profile information you provide, such as your name and email address.
- Journal and reflection content: the text you save, messages you send to Reflection, generated responses and Thoughts, timestamps, time zone, and settings needed to provide the app.
- Voice transcription: while you record, audio is streamed to Soniox to create a live transcript. Mine saves the finished text and does not save a copy of the raw audio.
- Operational information: limited request, error, and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
AI and service providers
Mine asks for your explicit permission before sharing journal, reflection, or audio data with third-party AI services. With that permission, Soniox processes live audio for transcription, and OpenAI processes relevant text to generate Reflection responses and Thoughts. OpenAI requests are routed through Vercel AI Gateway. Clerk provides authentication, Vercel hosts the service, and Neon provides the application database. These providers process information only to provide their contracted services to Mine.
Your choices
You can decline AI data sharing and continue using typed journaling. You can withdraw permission from Settings at any time; this stops new voice transcription and AI reflection processing. You can delete individual journal entries, or choose Delete Account in Settings to remove your account and Mine data from active systems. Limited encrypted backup copies may remain temporarily until the relevant provider's normal backup cycle expires.
Security and retention
Mine uses authenticated access and encrypted network connections. Your saved content is retained while your account is active so the journal works across sessions. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Mine is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to Mine, contact us so it can be removed.
